The City of Maud is seeking a Dual Licensed Water/Wastewater Operator to join our team. If you're a dependable, motivated professional who takes pride in serving the community, we'd like to hear from you!

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas dual license in Water and Wastewater Operations (or qualifications as required by the position)
  • Knowledge of water distribution and wastewater collection/treatment systems
  • Valid Texas driver's license
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, and monitor the city's water and wastewater systems
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate operational records and reports
  • Assist with repairs, troubleshooting, and system improvements
  • Supervision of public work employees
